Refund and cancellation policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This policy applies to paid project-based consulting services sold by Sync Horizon Integration Consulting (UBN 12567830). Website inquiries alone do not create a contract until a statement of work is signed.
Cooling-off period (proposed)
For distance contracts with consumers under the Consumer Protection Act, a seven-day withdrawal period (七日猶豫期) may apply where the law treats the transaction as remote sale of services. Business-to-business statements of work may waive or narrow this period by mutual written agreement. This seven-day frame is proposed pending business confirmation of your client mix.
Before work starts
If you cancel before we begin billable discovery or implementation, deposits are refunded minus documented third-party costs already incurred (licenses, subcontractor retainers) and a reasonable administrative fee not exceeding ten percent of the deposit.
After work has started
Fees for completed milestones are non-refundable. For the active milestone, partial credit may apply if we mutually agree to terminate early; work already delivered remains billable.
Delivered digital artifacts
Source code, configuration, or documentation delivered and accepted under a milestone cannot be “returned” for a full refund. Defects are remedied under the warranty section of your statement of work.
Rescheduling
Kickoff dates may move once without penalty if requested at least ten business days in advance. Later changes may incur rescheduling fees stated in the contract.
How to request a refund
Email info@sync-horizon.digital with your company name, statement of work reference, and reason. We respond within ten business days. Approved refunds are sent via the original payment method within fourteen business days.
No-shows
Missed workshops or review meetings without twenty-four hours’ notice may be billed at the hourly rate in your contract.
